FLEX is an engaging introduction to research and academia.

In this programme, you will investigate the ori-gins and development of different methodo-logical paradigms. The goal is to develop a rigorous, university-level research proposal. The FLEX program will develop and deepen your understanding of the research process.

Foundations Learning Experience

(FLEX)

The FLEX curriculum is based on our bespoke Foundation modules.

  • Learn how to use statistics to investigate social phenomena.

  • Learn how to use speech, text and art to investigate social phenomena.

  • Learn to design a university-level research proposal.

  • Learn the key elements of a successful research project, dissertation and thesis.

PSI provides Oxford-style supervision for students completing a dissertation or thesis.

In this programme, you will investigate the prin-ciples of research design, data collection, and academic writing. The goal is for you to submit an Ivy League quality university research pro-ject.

The programme was named after the penulti-mate Greek alphabet ‘psi’ which forms the root of the Greek word for heart, soul, and life.

RR 101 is modelled on the Oxford DPhil experience.

In this programme, students will learn to conduct high-quality research. RR 101 is organised around three milestones. Each milestone requires a written submission and an oral examination. The assessment panel will include both founders and an independent domain expert. The RR 101 programme leverages academic research to enable meaningful social change.
